Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Friends of Meadowbrook Golf Club (FOMGC) website, creating an account, or purchasing a membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

FOMGC reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

FOMGC memberships are available to individuals and organizations who support the mission of preserving the history of Meadowbrook Country Club. Membership provides access to the member portal, gated content, and member-exclusive benefits as described on the membership page.

Five paid membership tiers are offered: Community Supporter, Heritage Member, Preservation Partner, Legacy Patron, and Corporate Partner. Benefits vary by tier.

Partner access codes provided to Town of Garner employees and organizational partners grant member portal access without payment. Partner access is subject to the terms of the issuing organization's agreement with FOMGC and may be revoked at any time.

All paid memberships operate on a calendar year basis: January 1 through December 31. There is no proration — new members pay the full annual rate regardless of join date and receive access through December 31 of the current year.

Memberships auto-renew on January 1 of each year. You will receive renewal reminders at 60 days (November 1), 30 days (December 1), and 3 days (December 29) before renewal.

To opt out of auto-renewal, you must cancel by December 25. If you do not opt out by this date, your payment method on file will be charged for the upcoming calendar year.

All payments are processed through Stripe. FOMGC does not store credit card or bank account information.

You may cancel your membership at any time through the member portal or by contacting FOMGC directly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current membership period (December 31).

Membership fees are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-year, you retain access through December 31 of the current year. No partial refunds are issued.

All merchandise sold through the Heritage Shop is produced on demand through print-on-demand partnerships. Orders are fulfilled by third-party print and shipping providers.

Shipping times, return policies, and product specifications are as described on each product listing. FOMGC is not responsible for shipping delays caused by third-party fulfillment providers.

Proceeds from merchandise sales support FOMGC's preservation mission.

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, designs, and archival materials — is the property of Friends of Meadowbrook Golf Club or used with permission. Reproduction, distribution, or modification of any content without prior written consent is prohibited.

Historical photographs and documents in the FOMGC archive are preserved for educational and nonprofit purposes. Use of archival materials for commercial purposes requires explicit written permission from FOMGC.

FOMGC provides this website and its services on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the website or its content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FOMGC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, membership services, or merchandise purchases.

FOMGC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operated entirely by volunteers. No board member, officer, or volunteer shall be personally liable for the obligations or actions of the organization.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of FOMGC services shall be resolved in the courts of Wake County, North Carolina.
